We maintain regular, stringent certification requirements for all of our team. Every member of our medical team, from our physician to nurses and clinical staff, undergo regular trainings to maintain their status as the best in the industry.
Our practice as a whole is one of only 5 centers in Maryland that meets the highest “Class C” certification level from the AAAASF (the gold standard in ambulatory surgical accreditation). Class C designation indicates that we’ve met all of the following requirements:
- All our operating rooms are greater than 400 square feet.
- We maintain targeted air filtration systems that continuously filter the air, promoting a sterile environment.
- We follow strict infection control programs and quality assurance protocols.
- Our team rigorously follows physician and nursing staffing and credentials, and our administrative staff trained in the prestigious Johns Hopkins Healthcare System.
- We follow all state guidelines needed for recertification.
- Our center is equipped with a complete backup power system, and an entirely separate electrical system to provide an emergency power supply in case of a power outage.
